About the compiler (Deirdre)
Dee has been involved in running European Juggling Conventions since 2005. She was on the organising teams of 2006 and 2014 and was an advisor to the teams in 2019 (and 2023 when it was due to be held in Ireland).
She has done many roles at EJCs over the past – including volunteer coordinating, registration and information desk along with cleaning showers (in Ptuj!) She has been on the crew of most of the EJCs between 2005 and 2023 and this year is helping to run the Information Point.

Sirens?
Sirens on 1st August – many citizens of Poland commemorate the outburst of the Warsaw Uprising on 01.08. At 17:00, when the uprising started, the sirens go off around the country and many people stop for a while. So once you hear the sirens, don’t be scared.
